So throughout the years I've owned or played a lot of Harvest Moon games, however because I'm a cheap SOB I don't buy them till the get cheaper, that's why I've only recently acquired Animal Parade. Here is a list that I may accidentally leave one or two out, expect reviews on all these games at one point in time or another.
-Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (Gamecube)
-Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (GBA)
-Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life (Gamecube)
-Harvest Moon 64 (N64)
-Harvest Moon: Magical Melody (Gamecube)
-Harvest Moon: Magical Melody (Wii) (I played the Gamecube one first)
-Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition (PS2)
-Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland (PS2)
-Harvest Moon DS (DS)
-Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (PS)
-Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (PS3)
That's all that you can expect a review from me on, I will lump the two Magical Melodies into one review and the two Back to Natures into one review. A Wonderful Life and A Wonderful Life Special Edition will be given two separate reviews not only because of the obvious system difference but also the game differences.

First Impressions: Harvest Moon: Animal Parade
I just got Harvest Moon animal parade about a week ago (I waited a while for the price to drop) and what I've played so far is fairly good. I like the way that the game is set up, I do enjoy the "quest-like" feel to the game where you have to do quests to unlock more things (Though I didn't like getting fetch quested so early on). I also enjoy the customization in this game, it's something that adds a new level to how you play the game in my opinion.
This is just a first look, full review to come later.

14 Years of Harvest Moon
So as of 2012 we enter the 14th year of Harvest Moon, I was unaware of this until I read the Happy New Year post on Natsume.com it reads
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Natsume fans, especially our loyal Harvest Moon fans around the world, for their enthusiasm and dedication to the series over the past 14 years! Thanks to all of you, this unique, non-violent, heartfelt life-simulation has grown from a niche series into a widely recognized franchise played by people of all ages!"
I sadly have not be playing Harvest Moon for 14 years, this is only my 8th year of playing Harvest Moon games. I got my start in 2004 when I saw Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life reviewed on Judgement Day (Also known as Reviews on the Run). I saw the game and thought it looked fun so when I got the chance I went and bought it.
I was love at first play for me and as soon as I put it down I wanted to play more.
I few months after that I was at a garage sale and I saw a copy of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for fifty cents. I bought that game, went home, and started to fall in love with a new girl.
Later I would buy a used copy of Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland for about five bucks. I loved this game for a lot of reasons, I'll go into those in my review of the game though. I also found out yesterday that it is now on PSN making it much more accessible for everyone, not just people like me who never got rid of a game or console.
These days I'm still buying up older games and getting the new ones. My next planned video game purchase is a copy of Tale of Two Towns as soon as I find a copy that's not for the 3DS, I don't own one I don't really want to own one.
Welcome!
Welcome! The purpose of this blog is to review and break down Harvest Moon games as well as sharing news and my opinion on news in the Harvest Moon community. This post will be short because it has no business being long. Peace out!
